CHEF RAJEEV JANVEJA
Meet the man who puts together our delightful menus, Executive Chef Rajeev Janveja. A specialist in Indian
cuisine and multi cuisines with over 25 years of experience, Chef Rajeev, as he is fondly called, has served in various Indian restaurants in India and Germany and had the opportunity to delight not only head of states but corporate czars and celebrities. He has had the privilege to accompany the Prime Minister of India as his Personal Chef, during his tour to Iran in April 2001.
A perfectionist to the core in everything and that leads him to experiment a lot with food. By following his hobby of interacting with people and exchanging views on various cuisines, Chef Rajeev consistently creates interactive menus. Don't be surprised to often see him surfing on his laptop looking for new techniques and innovations in food technology.
Little wonder that in his long career, Chef Rajeev, has honed his culinary skills at various hotels across the country. He launched the popular Machan and Ricks at The Taj Mahal Hotel in New Delhi. And was also closely involved in the planning and opening of the new Indian restaurant - Masala Bay at the Taj Lands End, Mumbai, introducing a completely new concept of Indian food.
He has won a fabulous list of international awards and accolades, including the Tata award for business excellence.
